The holiday season is often especially difficult for individuals, families and children infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Please help us brighten the holiday season for people throughout the North Country, Hudson Valley and Capital Regions. The AIDS Council is in need of new toys, nonperishable food items, clothing, blankets, movies and music, household items, gift certificates and wrapping paper. Individuals, families and groups (work, club, church, etc.) can also adopt a family for the holidays. We can either pair you with a specific family and provide a wish list or we can use your donation to help purchase items for multiple families.

Last year, the AIDS Council was able to help over 500 people through the annual Holiday Sponsor Program and Toiletry Drive. This year, more clients need our assistance and are struggling to survive on extremely limited incomes and fewer resources. Often, clients will go without the basic necessities of heat, warm clothes, medication and food so they can afford to share the holiday season of giving with loved ones.
