Why Support the AIDS Council?

The AIDS Council works to provide comprehensive, compassionate support to people living with HIV/AIDS, their loved ones and caregivers. We also work diligently to alleviate both the risk and fear of AIDS through innovative prevention education programs and continue to serve as advocates for services necessary to the health and well-being of our clients and the broader community.

What Makes our Events Stand Out?

Well Established Events

Two of the three special events held by the AIDS Council have been in existence for ten+ years. The events are well attended and highly publicized. There is little doubt that the third event, Dining Out for Life, will be just as successful as our Benefit in Saratoga and the Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Celebration.

Great Publicity for Sponsors

Sponsors will be introduced to over 6,000 households through our event invitations and are listed in over 1,200 programs handed out at the events and used throughout the year as marketing materials for the AIDS Council. Sponsors also receive prominent placing in all media advertising and publicity. The AIDS Council also receives local media coverage during the events.

What Benefits Does Your Organization Receive?

Depending on your sponsorship level, your organization will receive:

Community Recognition

Did you know that 78% of adults are more likely to buy a product associated with a cause they care about? The same Cone/Roper survey also found that 62% adults would switch retailers to support a cause they care about and 66% would switch brands! This is your chance to show that your organization cares about the community and expand your customer base at the same time!

Extensive Marketing and Advertising Opportunities

Your company will be listed along with other distinguished organizations within the local business community at the event and through our extensive marketing campaign. Last year, our event sponsors received sponsor acknowledgement in the Times Union, in cable advertising provided by Time Warner Cable, through our Radio Sponsors, and in various print media including Capital Region Living, QNortheast, Metroland, commUNITY, and A&U Magazine (nationally distributed).

Complimentary Tickets

Use the tickets for employee incentives or client/customer appreciation gifts.

Consider the Value

Your business’s sponsorship of any of our events will introduce your company to over 6,500 households through the event invitation, will allow your company name to be broadcast to thousands of cable television viewers, be highlighted in over 1,000 event programs which are handed out at the event and used throughout the year as marketing materials for the AIDS Council. Perhaps best of all, your company will be seen listed along with other distinguished organizations in the Capital Region at the event.

In addition, your company will receive valuable event passes to use as employee incentives or customer appreciation gifts. This is, by any standard, an exceptional marketing value!

Sponsorship packages range from $500 to $10,000 or more. We welcome the opportunity to tailor a sponsorship package to meet your specific corporate or community marketing needs.
