1. Your Bidder Identification Number for both the Live and Silent Auction is your Ticket ID Number.

2. If you lose your Auction Guide or forget your Bidder Identification Number, please see a volunteer at the Auction Courtesy Table in the Registration Area.

3. We strongly recommend you pre-register your credit card before bidding in either the Live or Silent Auctions to save time during check out at the Auction Courtesy Table in the Registration Area.

Silent Auction: Opens 5:00 p.m. | Closes 9:00 p.m.

1. Each Silent Auction package has a Starting Bid Amount and a Minimum Bid Increment Amount. To bid on a package, simply write your Bidder Identification Number in the numbered box on the bid sheet, and your bid amount in the corresponding box to the right.

2. Bids lower than or not meeting the Minimum Bid Increment will be disqualified – however, you may bid HIGHER than the Minimum Bid Increment.

3. If you have questions about a package, please speak with a Silent Auction Volunteer before bidding.

4. The Silent Auction will close in two sections, with the 1st half closing at 9:00 and the 2nd half closing at 9:05. Silent Auction check-out will begin at 9:15.

5. The winners of each Silent Auction package will be posted on the video screen in the Main Tasting Room.

6. To check out, please go to the Auction Courtesy Table in the Registration Area.

Live Auction: Begins at 8:00 p.m.

1. Please gather in the Main Tasting Room near the video screen no later than 7:55.

2. To bid on a Live Auction package, please raise your Auction Guide with your bidder number in view of the auctioneers.

3. Bidding will continue on a package until there are no further bids; following a count of three, the winning bid will be announced. In any dispute between bidders, the auctioneers will have sole and final discretion to either determine the successful bidder or resell the disputed package.

4. If you are the winning bidder, a Live Auction Volunteer will approach you to secure your name, Bidder Identification Number, and answer any questions you may have about your purchase.

5. Live Auction package winners may check out beginning at 8:30 at the Auction Courtesy Table in the Registration Area.

Check-Out & Payment Information

1. Winning Bidders in the Live & Silent Auction will be shown on the screen in the Main Tasting Room.

2. We suggest that winning bidders make a note in this auction guide of package(s) won.

3. Remember: Live Auction Check Out begins at 8:30, and Silent Auction Check Out begins at 9:15.

4. To check out, please give your Bidder Identification Number to the volunteers at the Auction Courtesy Table. While processing your payment, a volunteer will bring your package(s) to you. If you have already registered your credit card, you will be able to simply collect your auction packages.

5. All Live and Silent Auction packages must be paid for by 10:00 and removed from Michael’s Banquet House by the end of the evening.

6. By purchasing a package, the buyer waives any claims for liability against either the AIDS Council of Northeastern New York or the package’s donor(s) that may result from the utilization of property or services sold.

7. Unless otherwise specified, all auction packages must be used within one (1) year after November 19, 2009.

8. Unless specified, dates and times for certain activities or services are to be arranged at the mutual convenience of the donor and the buyer.

9. Payment Options: Cash, check (made payable to AIDS Council of Northeastern New York), Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.

10. All auction packages are sold “as is”; please read auction descriptions carefully. Descriptions in this guide are necessarily brief and may not contain all limitations on the packages described – e.g. packages may have date/time restrictions. Please see package signage for full details.
