Dining Out For Life - April 24th, 2008

What better way to support the cause than by celebrating life with some friends and great food? Help us make Dining Out For Life an event to remember. Participating restaurants from Plattsburgh to Hudson and throughout the Capital Region will be donating at least 25% of their food and beverage sales to the AIDS Council.All you have to donate is your appetite!

Annual Benefit in Saratoga - July 27th, 2008

This years event will take place on Sunday, July 27th at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga. At this summer gala, you will enjoy gourmet cuisine, cocktails, live music and the elegance of Saratoga at the start of the racing season. Last year's event help raise over $70,000.

AIDSWalk 2008 - September 28th, 2008

AIDSWalk 2008 will take place on Sunday, September 28, bringing together over 2,000 capital region residents to remind our community that the AIDS epidemic is far from over. Join us in celebrating the lives of persons living with HIV/AIDS in our community and help raise funds for needed local HIV/AIDS services. You can walk as a group or individual.

Beaujolais Nouveau - November 20th, 2008

Beaujolais 2008 will take place on November 20th at Michael's Banquet House in Latham. Recognized as one of the most popular events of the Capital Region, this event typically attracts over 900 guests and raised over $65,000 for AIDS Coucil programs and services in 2007. Begin the Holiday season with this annual tradition.

Help Fight AIDS Through Books and Music

Visit the Help Fight Aids online bookstore at Half.com and have your books delivered right to your door. This volunteer organization also sells Books, Music and Entertainment Books at various locations in the Capital District.

Make a Donation to the Annual Fund

You can support the AIDS Council’s Annual Fund by making a gift of $65 to provide a mental health counseling session, $100 to provide five Rapid HIV tests or $125 to buy a housing start up kit for a client moving into a new residence.  Your contribution ensures that the AIDS Council continues to offer the highest quality services to its clients and our community.

Donate to the Richard W. Joseph Endowment Fund

Richard W. Joseph was the Executive Director of the AIDS Council of Northeastern New York from May of 1994 until his death in December of 1999. The Richard W. Joseph Memorial Endowment Fund provides educational opportunities to our clients and specialized training to our Prevention Services staff members, while also providing resources for furthering the AIDS Council's HIV prevention efforts.

Event sponsors have the opportunity to become affiliated with well established events. The events are well attended and highly publicized. Sponsors will be introduced to over 6,000 households and are listed in over 1,200 programs handed out at the events and used throughout the year as marketing materials for the AIDS Council. Sponsors also receive prominent placing in all media advertising and publicity.
