AIDS Council 25th Anniversary

2009 marks the AIDS Council of Northeastern New York’s 25th Anniversary of service to the community.  From its grassroots beginnings in the early years of the AIDS crisis, the AIDS Council has grown into the region’s premier provider of services for people living with HIV/AIDS and their families. Over the past 25 years, the AIDS Council has also developed cutting edge prevention services to stop the spread of HIV.

25th Anniversary Kick Off

The AIDS Council kicked off its 25th year with a press conference at City Hall in Albany on December 1, 2008 – World AIDS Day – as well as a highly-visible “guerrilla art” activity in downtown Albany. Click here for a recap and photos of the press conference and the AIDS Council’s other World AIDS Day 2008 activities.
